Eligibility rules: An "innovation" is defined as any product that researchers use in a lab: machines, instruments, tools, cell lines, made-to-order labels, etc. A product released before January 1, 2011 could be considered eligible if a version released in 2011 is a significant improvement over prior versions.

Entries may be submitted from August 1 to September 16, 2011.
