Richard Gallagher joined The Scientist in 2002 with 13+ years of experience in scientific publishing. Gallagher earned his PhD in cell biology from Glasgow University in 1984 for work on lymphocyte adhesion in control of the immune response. After six years as a postdoc, he worked as editor of Immunology Today, senior editor of Science, and chief biology editor and publisher at Nature. Director of Sales

Sande Giaccone is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a strong background in life science publishing. He has held previous sales positions at Nature Publishing Group and Cell Press and has worked in media planning and product management. Dan Nicholas is an experienced life science professional with 12+ years in the industry. He has held positions at several life science publishers, laboratory product sales at Life Technologies, as well as a research assistantship at the State University of New York.
