In her article "Can computers untangle the neural net?"[1]
Karen Heyman mentions several recent books on computational neuroscience but notes that these are generally advanced texts. I wanted to mention another recent book: William Lytton's From Computer to Brain.[2]
This text presents the field without prerequisites and furnishes an accessible introduction to computational neuroscience.
