I am not entirely clear how this differs from any academic lab? Doesn't everyone feel free to park their bikes in the hall and to bring their pets/kids in on the weekends? And I don't think I have ever been anywhere (including Big Pharma) where I didn't make my own buffers or any other reagents.

It looks like a fun place to work, but I am not at all clear as to how novel this is. And if it is a commercial environment, what is the product?
