The BIO Show Daily is distributed to delegates each day at the BIO International Convention.
Its primary goals are to highlight important events at the convention and provide attendees with timely news, schedule information, and relevant insight to enhance the convention experience.
The BIO Show Daily seeks to publish engaging opinions, industry analysis and insightful perspectives on biotechnology from around the world.
Submission procedures and deadlines are as follows:
1. Focus on a single topic that will be of wide interest to delegates.
2. Mention your affiliation once in the article, but concentrate on the issue, not on your company/region/service. For example, you might discuss easy access to capital as a driver of the local biotech industry, rather than submit an article about biotech growth in your region.
3. Be passionate and engaging. For example, use of the first person, and inclusion of quotes is encouraged.
4. Provide a short, descriptive title and brief subhead. End with contact info.
5. Provide a single illustration, table or figure, plus a headshot of the author.
6. Submissions should be no more than 400 words.
7. Topics may include (but should not be limited to): Business strategies, intellectual property, regulatory legislation, innovative technologies, products that fulfill a general need within the industry.
8. Submission Deadline: Monday, March 1, 2010 Early submissions will be looked upon favorably!
