OriGene Technologies was founded in 1997 as a research tool company focused upon the creation of the largest commercial collection of full-length human cDNAs in a standard expression vector. The availability of the complete sequence of the human genome and the subsequent development of genome-based tools has enabled the identification of relevant drug targets through system biology approaches. OriGenes vision has been to prepare for the approach of these systematic biology methods by creating comprehensive cDNA clone collections and related technologies and applications for gene function analysis. These collections, technologies and applications will enable scientists to look at full, biologically relevant networks to best understand disease mechanisms.

OriGene Technologies uses high-throughput gene cloning and gene expression profiling to develop commercially available products for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic research and discovery applications. Our flagship product is the cDNA clone collection, a searchable gene bank of over 30,000 human full-length TrueClone cDNA collection and over 25,000 TrueORF cDNA clones. In addition to cDNA clones, OriGene offers unique gene expression products such TissueScan cancer qPCR arrays for biomarker discovery and validation, and VERIFY?
