Biologist turns bear-saver!

Couldn't resist posting on this one-- a bunch of news articles chronicled a wildlife biologist who pulled a furry Baywatch, dragging a drowning bear to safety. Sure, the beast was sedated, and the scientist did work for Fish and Wildlife, but the picture looks dramatic.

The key word in the story: "sedated"

Whether you work for the Fish and Wildlife or not, saving a bear is impressive. Just remember when attempting this at home to always sedate the bear first! The pictures from the guy who forgot this key step were not shown at the request of the deceased family.
