Elisabet Stener-Victorin, PhD is principal investigator of the research group Reproductive Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Karolinska Institute. Through financial support from the Swedish Research Council, Novo Nordisk Foundation, clinical funding, and The Strategic Research Program for Diabetes at Karolinska Institutet, her lab bridging preclinical and clinical investigations of polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), former polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), the most common endocrine and metabolic disorder.
