Elizabeth Cormier-May is a biotechnology entrepreneur, company builder, and executive with more than 20 years of experience translating breakthrough science into clinically meaningful diagnostic technologies. As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mammogen, she leads the company’s strategy, financing, and commercialization as it advances a transformative blood-based test designed to enable earlier detection of breast cancer.

Elizabeth holds a B.S. in Organic Chemistry with ACS Certification from Wheaton College and pursued graduate studies at Northeastern University. She began her career as an oncological medicinal chemist, developing a deep understanding of translational science before moving into executive leadership. Throughout her career, she has guided the development and commercialization of novel diagnostic technologies, raised growth capital, built high-performing teams, forged strategic partnerships, and led organizations through the scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial complexities of bringing innovative diagnostics to market.

In addition to leading Mammogen, Elizabeth serves as Managing Partner of IV BioHoldings (IVBH), where she oversees the strategy and growth of a portfolio of precision health companies advancing earlier disease detection, more accurate diagnosis, and more personalized patient care. Across her career, Elizabeth has founded and led multiple biotechnology companies, helping advance innovative molecular diagnostic technologies from scientific discovery through clinical development, commercialization, and strategic financing.
