Jasmine Pathan, PhD

Jasmine earned her PhD in neuroscience from the City University of New York, The Graduate Center. During her doctoral training, she studied how to utilize neural activity through chemogenetic and electrical neuromodulatory approaches to prevent immune cells from attacking viable spinal neurons after a spinal cord injury and ultimately improve motor function. Jasmine joined The Scientist as an intern in May 2024. She is based in New York City.
