Natanella Illouz-Eliaz, PhD
Natanella Illouz-Eliaz is an Eckhart Postdoctoral Scholar at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in the Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology and Genomic Analysis Laboratories, working with Joseph R. Ecker. Her research, supported by an NIH K99 Pathway to Independence Award, focuses on plant stress recovery mechanisms, and cell-state–specific immune activation. She integrates single-cell, spatial transcriptomic, and functional genomic approaches to understand how chromatin dynamics and transcriptional programs shape plant adaptation to environmental stress.
