Dr. Sangeetha Aravinda (MBBS MS) is an ophthalmologist based in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. She graduated with distinctions in microbiology and community medicine and honours in pharmacology. She is the author of two postgraduate textbooks on Glaucoma and Uvea, available on Amazon Kindle. Her recent article on cataract surgery appeared in Asimov Press, and her writings have also been featured in The Hindu. A committed teacher and mentor, she actively trains junior doctors and mid-level ophthalmic personnel. She has performed over 900 cataract surgeries in her career and is still counting.
