
Sheetal Potdar, PhD
Sheetal Potdar is a freelance science journalist. She has a PhD in neuroscience where she studied how sleep-wake circuits are organized in the fly brain. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the Salk Institute where she worked on hunger-aggression neural circuits, she pivoted to science writing and has written on chronic pain and depression, cognitive fatigue, AI art, exercise among others. She also occasionally writes science blogs on her website.
