" Rather than using triple-helix formation and DNA-binding proteins, a new approach is discussed that can sequence specifically cleaved supercoiled double-stranded DNAs by a hybrid nuclease utilizing D-loop formation. This design technology should facilitate the manipulation and mapping of genetic DNA.
