Udall Fellowships Support Federal Service The congressional board of the Office of Technology Assessment has renamed its fellowship program to honor Morris K. Udall, the Arizona Democrat and longtime OTA board member who recently retired from Congress. Those who have completed doctoral-level research in some technical field related to OTA's mission are eligible to apply. Relevant disciplines are the physical, biological, environmental, and social sciences, as well as public policy and engineering.

Appointments begin in September. Fellowship holders receive salaries based on level of experience and may accept other salary or grant support during their tenure.

The application deadline for the 1992-93 year is January 31. For more information, contact the Office of Technology Assessment, Personnel Office, Washington, D.C. 20510-8025; (202) 224-8713.
