Red handfish, Thymichthys politusANTONIA COOPERA new population of red handfish (Thymichthys politus) has been discovered near the Tasmanian coast. Handfish are unique in that they propel themselves by walking along the sea floor instead of swimming. The discovery doubles the known population of red handfish in the wild.
