I am writing in reference to your editorial.1 In my opinion, your "harsh vent" against antivaccine groups was (to say the least) unnecessary. It is true that there are inflammatory reports about treatments and scientific discoveries. However, we cannot forget that this takes place even in peer-reviewed scientific journals. I don't belong to any of these antivaccine groups. But, these groups provide a healthy equilibrium, which is beneficial to society. After all, a theory (in this case a treatment) needs to outdo the scrutiny of people and time in order to validate itself.
