Letter: Misnomer

In the article "Data Banks, Buyers' Guides Compete" (The Scientist, April 16, 1990, page 15), the publication Biomedical Products was mistakenly referred to as a "buyers' guide." The publication is, in fact, a product news tabloid magazine for life science researchers. The distinction is important. JAY LEECH Associate Publisher Biomedical Products Gordon Publications, Inc.
