Scientific Fundamentalism

The attacks within the science community on anyone venturesome enough to engage in appropriate research in the field are equally appalling.

There are many other examples as well, but from my perspective the science community is no different from any other human community that has closed minds.

I would like to say that whether it is science or religion or some other area of human activity, we all need to be more open to new ideas and concepts. After all, science still has not been able to describe the universe completely, if it ever will. Give all new thoughts and ideas a chance to flower. Let them not be stomped on...
