Advances in cell imaging are among the technologies being highlighted at the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) annual meeting in San Diego, California. For its 2015 “Celldance” competition, the association’s Public Information Committee evaluated submitted video proposals from ASCB member labs, choosing three to support with $1,000 production grants and postproduction services. Here, in no particular order, are the three grant-supported videos.

“Spying on Cancer Cell Invasion”

Edison Leung and Allison Harney; John Condeelis lab, Albert Einstein College of Medicine

“Shape Shifting Cells”
Douglas Robinson, Johns Hopkins University

“At the Cell’s Edge”
Satyajit Mayor, India’s National Centre for Biological Science
