The DU Series 500 UV/Vis Spectrophotometers feature interchangeable sampling modules, enabling the user to reconfigure the system. Each system comes with a complete set of application programs. Two models are available. The DU 520 is suitable for single- and multiple-wavelength analysis, wavelength scanning, spectral manipulation, time-based kinetic/rate determination, and single-component analysis for concentration determination. The DU 530 offers all the features of the 520 model, plus application programs for protein and nucleic acid analysis, including DNA/RNA/Oligo quantitation modes for determining molecular weight, concentrations, and theoretical melting point.

The Milli-Q systems are upgradable by adding purification stages, such as capillary-fiber ultrafiltration for pyrogen reduction and ultraviolet photo-oxidation for ultralow organic levels. They enable monitoring of both organic purity and resistivity via built-in systems, as well as printing of water-quality parameters via an RS232 port and accessory printer. Other features include multilingual alphanumeric displays and a point-of-use...
