Here's how the #PostYourPoster Contest works:
To enter, post your best lab posters using the hashtag #PostYourPoster on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. Please keep in mind that your entry must not include inappropriate gestures or content. Also, please ensure that any individuals pictured have given consent for their image to be used.
Only photos submitted with the contest hashtag (#PostYourPoster) during the contest period from October 1st, 2019 to November 15th, 2019 will be considered. Only 10 original entries per person will be considered.
Your submission must be an original photo and must contain at least one poster hanging in your lab.
To enter, you will need to have an active Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter account. To be eligible, you will need to ensure your post is public so that your entry can be found by our judges. "Like" The Scientist social channels on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep tabs on the #PostYourPoster competition! We'll be sharing updates throughout the contest period.
A panel of judges appointed by The Scientist will review all entries on a weekly basis. The selected winners will be contacted on or around the following dates:
- Friday, October 18th, 2019
- Friday, October 25th, 2019
- Friday, November 1st, 2019
- Friday, November 8th, 2019
- Friday, November 15th, 2019
If you are selected to win, a TS representative will contact you on or after the dates listed above. If you do not reply in 48 hours, you will no longer be eligible to win.
Judging Criteria
This is how the judges will assess each shot:
- Does it include at least one lab poster?
- Does it demonstrate creativity?
- Does it demonstrate originality
