TIP TROVE | Gaffes Can Scuttle Grants

Carelessness annoys reviewers. A large number of grant applications have typos and incorrect numbering of references and aims. Abbreviations can be commonly used but are sometimes impenetrable. Try to use them sparingly, and spell out abbreviated terms in full at least once in the text....
