The EarlyTox™ Cell Integrity Kit from Molecular Devices is a fluorescence-based cell viability assay integrated with the company’s existing hardware and software for quick IC50 analysis in adherent and non-adherent cells. The kit is equipped with brighter fluorophores that shorten exposure times and increase throughput. An optional masking reagent reduces background, eliminating the need for time-consuming media removal and washes.

The kit employs a two-color system to distinguish live and dead cells. A red “live” dye enters all cells, staining the nuclei red. A green “dead” dye permeates only those cells with compromised membranes, staining the nuclei green

Using the SpectraMax® MiniMax™ 300 Imaging Cytometer and pre-configured protocols for the SoftMax® Pro Software, a 96-well plate can be assessed in five minutes and an IC50 curve automatically generated
