Gallagher joins The Scientist with more than 13 years of experience in scientific publishing. In his most recent role as the Publisher of Nature, he built an immensely successful publishing project around the human genome issue (February 2001), making it one of Nature's greatest successes from an editorial, marketing, advertising, sponsorship and electronic publishing standpoint.
