The Baker Company has launched PhO2x box, a next generation, compact, economical tool from Baker Ruskinn which facilitates the study of complex cellular interactions under precise physiological oxygen conditions.

“I am very proud to be able to announce a new addition to Baker’s innovative portfolio of cell growth solutions.  PhO2x Box, our latest ‘GROW’ product, is a feature rich but affordably priced O2/CO2 cell culture system specifically designed to bring what we call ‘Physoxia’ to the masses.  Either as a standalone tool or, when used in conjunction with an incubator or hypoxia workstation, this new solution will provide even more choice to researchers across the globe whom require physiologically relevant solutions for their work”, said Dan Eagleson, Senior VP and Commercial Director for The Baker Company.

“Now researchers can perform short term physoxia or hypoxia experiments in a small easy to move chamber with data logging capability. All you need is PhO2x Box and an (ambient) incubator to achieve physoxia” commented Samir Patel, Global Director of Sales for Baker Ruskinn. He continues: “And, for customers whom already have Hypoxia Workstations, PhO2x Box will provide them with the ability to install a second - or even third - independently controlled atmosphere in parallel with the main chamber.  This expands the experimental capacity of those workstations, bringing much more flexibility and productivity to the lab.”

This newest addition to Baker’s GROW portfolio shows how the company is translating today’s cell culture needs into simple, state-of-the-art in vitro tools for a wide variety of in vivo research applications and laboratory budgets.
