Researchers use mass spectrometry-based methods for single-cell proteomics, where they can identify and quantify thousands of proteins, proteoforms, and post-translational modifications within each cell. To ensure maximum proteome coverage, scientists employ a label-free, data-independent acquisition (DIA) approach to analyze single-cell proteomes without bias. However, getting started in the single-cell proteomics field is daunting.

In this webinar brought to you by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Runsheng Zheng and Fernanda Salvato will discuss the best practices for performing DIA-based single-cell proteomics using Thermo Scientific Orbitrap mass spectrometers.

Topics to be covered

  • How to optimize sample preparation, separation, and data analysis when using Thermo Scientific Orbitrap mass spectrometers
  • Recent advances in single-cell proteomics
