A New Lease on Membrane Life

Temecula, Calif.-based Chemicon International Inc. introduces the Blot Restore Membrane Rejuvenation Kit for the re-use of PVDF and nitrocellulose membranes that have been developed with chemiluminescent or color substrates and dried during previous Western blot experiments. The Blot Restore kit permits re-analysis of a dried membrane with the original or different antibodies, which saves researchers money by conserving reagents and samples.
