I would like to bring your attention two errors in the article "High-Technology Advances Spur Progress In Study of Human Brain" about Alan Gevins and EEG Systems Laboratory [The Scientist, Nov. 26, 1990, page 1]. Second, the Air Force pilots in our study of sustained mental work were recorded with either 33 or 51 channels. The data from subjects who more recently had 124-channel EEG recordings and magnetic resonance images are used in making three-dimensional models of the brain.
