Capturing Exosomes from Cell Culture Media

Scientists choose ultracentrifugation techniques for simplicity and proven efficacy in exosome purification.

Exosomes are a type of extracellular vesicle that transport genetic information from cell to cell. Although scientists can isolate exosomes from different types of body fluids, lipoproteins and other extracellular vesicles interfere with sample purity for therapeutic applications. Researchers turn to cell culture conditioned medium (CCM) as a main source of exosomes for disease biomarker studies and drug delivery vehicles.

Download this white paper from Thermo Fisher Scientific to discover how to optimize exosome isolation from CCM with ultracentrifugation.
