In the article "Scientists Struggling With Concerns Raised By Genome Project Progress" (S. Benowitz, The Scientist, July 8, 1996, page 1), Paul R. Billings was incorrectly identified. He is deputy chief of staff at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System in Palo Alto, Calif.
