Kreeger, The Scientist, March 18, 1996, page 13), incorrect information was given about funding of intramural research at the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases. At the institute, $19.3 million goes for intramural research, with $9.7 million funding research management and support. The latter category encompasses overall administration and coordination of the managerial and scientific programs of the institute, including both extramural and intramural programs.
