I was very happy to see your discussion with Peter Greenwald on Food or Pharmaceuticals.1 It is really difficult to convince our clinicians/ scientists that many nutrients, in appropriate combination(s), are capable of preventing and/or relieving many health disorders. A case in point: Several years ago, I sent a combination of nutrients to the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to find out its activity against HIV with and without AZT. Although the results were highly encouraging, the NCI did not accept it for further evaluations because it was a combination of nutrients and not like a single drug molecule.
Because I did not have any financial support for further studies here, our studies in another country appear to be highly encouraging in treating cancers as an adjuvant with chemo- and/or radiation therapies. However, I do not know the way to convince our funding authorities to support this type of scientific approach ...
