Why do I have to make excellent laboratory work to make my papers reviewed (not published) in an average journal (impact of 1.2), whereas Mr. Chapela1 published in Nature a work with so many flaws it wouldn't pass my university's PhD committee? Because he works in a controversial field and obtained results that could put corporations in a bad position. But that is not serious science; that is sensationalism.
