Donald L. Chi is professor and the Lloyd and Kay Chapman Endowed Chair at the University of Washington, where he is Associate Dean for Research. His NIH-funded research focuses on addressing oral health inequities through community-based interventions. He received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) Award from President Joe Biden and was elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in 2025.
