Jakob Nilsson, PhD, is a professor at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research at the University of Copenhagen. His group focuses on how short linear motifs control post-translational modifications, their role in interactions between viruses and host factors, and how such interactions can be exploited for novel therapeutic opportunities.
