Beckman Instruments Inc. now markets the new FUTURA(trademark) Plus combination electrodes, featuring a rugged bulb line, a quick temperature response STAR(TradeMark) series, a flat bulb electrode, and several permanently filled electrodes for special applications in electrochemistry. The rugged bulb, STAR, and flat bulb electrodes come with the new Beckman pHresh Performance Pac, which protects the pH sensing bulb from contamination with dried salts and ensures that the electrode is always ready for immediate use.

The rugged bulb electrodes have thicker glass tips, which allow the electrode to withstand considerable stress without breakage. These electrodes, available in both glass and epoxy body styles for $99 each, can be used with the same samples as other Ag/AgCl electrodes. The ideal temperature range for the FUTURA Plus rugged bulb electrodes is 10 to l00°C with total electrode sizes of 12 mmx 130 mm.

The FUTURA Plus STAR Series electrodes are designed for rapid ...
