The cameras' iris, gating, and intensifier gain function may be controlled manually or automatically. Their high-speed asynchronous image capture, built-in contrast enhancement, and automatic light-level control permit imaging over a wide range of ambient light conditions from starlight to full daylight. All camera parameters and user-selected application data can be automatically encoded, recorded, and displayed in each frame. Options include radiometric calibration of sensors, real-time multispectral imaging, and an integral digital video and image-processing board.
