PathScope 2 advances the Pathologist’s workflow with a practical solution that is both affordable and efficient. It supports routine slide examination, frozen section and needle biopsy consults right from the pathologist’s desk with a streamlined workflow to save hours per day. Camera and computer management have been optimized and automated to allow the pathologist to focus on slide examination. Image acquisition is accomplished in three easy steps, without touching the mouse or keyboard: 1) barcode login, 2) slide examination, and 3) image trigger. A single click of the image trigger automatically imprints images with the case number and reference mark then archives them to your LIS, file server or cloud storage. Consultations become routine with PathScope’s built in telepathology interface that provides interactive image, voice, cursor and annotation for both the host and attendees.
