WIKIMEDIA, ANDREAS PRAEFCKEA White House official, speaking on background, told The Scientist that President Donald Trump on Friday (March 31) met with Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Tom Price and National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Francis Collins at the White House. The White House source said that the discussion between Trump, Price, and Collins included combating drug addiction, the opioid crisis, American innovation in medical research and development, and retaining young researchers in the biomedical research enterprise.
