Analyzing Oligonucleotide Purity with Capillary Electrophoresis

Identify small impurities introduced by oligonucleotide synthesis prior to experimentation.

Share

The oligonucleotide synthesis process can introduce small impurities at various stages. Additionally, different synthesis methods and purification efficiencies can impact sample quality. As such, it is important to assess all oligonucleotides used in the laboratory to make sure that their purity is sufficient for downstream applications such as PCR, gene assembly, and microarray/hybridization assays.

Download this technical overview from Agilent to discover how automated parallel capillary electrophoresis separates and assesses single-stranded nucleic acid samples.
