Designed to reduce set-up time and eliminate operator errors, the Bar Code System is fully optimized for routine applications. Bar code labels on reagent vials identify reagent type, format, product and lot numbers, volume, and expiration date. Bar code labels on sample slides correspond to patient, physician, specimen number, date, sample format, tissue type, and protocol to be run including pretreatment, blocking, primary antibody, link, label, substrate/chromogen, counterstain, and rinsing steps.
