Traditionally, Bus says, government and industry scientists have stayed in the laboratory. He argues that their culture has to change if these scientists are going to be successful. "Our society is very active in looking for mechanisms to provide training to speak about the value of the science of toxicology and provide the connections to the right media so they can expand their network," Bus notes.
