I am sure my colleagues at liberal arts colleges would join me in thanking you for an insightful article on the pleasures and occasional pains of doing science in a smaller college (Linda Marsa, The Scientist, Nov. 23, 1992, page 21). But the headline you chose, "Doing Science Off The Beaten Path At Liberal Arts Schools," undercuts the message of the article.
