Congratulations for your Postdoc Talk, "On Choosing Children."1 I think many women have felt that kind of "discrimination" as well; if you choose to get pregnant, [there is discrimination] from your colleagues, or if you decide not to be a mother, from the family or nonscientist friends, [in many cases] also women. It is very difficult for them to understand: "How can you delay or change that privilege for science ..." And I thought it was only happening in underdeveloped countries! (Mostly dominated by men).
