Science & Engineering Workforce Project at the National Bureau of Economic Research

Professors Richard Freeman and Daniel Goroff of Harvard University direct SWEP, which was founded in 2001 with funding from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. It is a network of labor economists studying workforce issues, and has published a number of papers on women and minorities in the workforce and held a 2005 conference on diversifying the scientific workforce.
