Soref has opened a store to benefit CSHL, called DNA Stuff http://www.DNAStuff.com. It sells DNA-themed items including jewelry and denim clothing that puns on "gene/jean." The net proceeds of each sale benefit CSHL. Soref hopes to cut deals with museum shops to expand the store's outreach.

The clothing features DNA designs in all sizes and styles, including jean jackets, silk cummerbunds, and infant outfits. The double helix appears twisted into jewelry for both genders and all budgets, from graduate student ($24 silver pendant) to biotech CEO ($1,320 amethyst/citrine/gold earrings).
