Henry's research involves genetic regulation of lipid metabolism in baker's yeast. Her investigations have involved yeast as a model for analysis of eukaryotic cellular metabolism. She and her colleagues have uncovered a pattern of transcriptional regulation that coordinates a large number of enzymes of lipid metabolism.
