Evans, Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator and director of the Gene Expression Laboratory at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, Calif., and Peter Tontonoz, now assistant HHMI investigator and assistant professor in the pathology and laboratory medicine department at University of California, Los Angeles. Data from the Web of Science (ISI, Philadelphia) show that Hot Papers are cited 50 to 100 times more often than the average paper of the same type and age.
