The Father's Role
Hon Fong Louie Mark's commentary "The Plight of Women in Science Continues" [page 13] and Ricki Lewis's article "Balancing Academic Research and Motherhood Is A Precarious Task" [page 16] in the Sept. 18, 1995, issue of The Scientist both ignore one very important issue.
